What our learners say

  • I decided to come to the UTC because I wanted to succeed in my learning.

    ,

  • The UTC has a fantastic window of opportunities.

    ,

  • At the UTC you get pushed to complete challenges and I’m always up for a challenge!

    ,

  • I have loved every minute at the UTC.

    ,

  • Coming to the UTC will get me a better education and will bring me closer to achieving my ambition of becoming an Architect.

    ,

  • My favourite session is Thematics, it’s task related and linked to the world of work, it makes me feel like an adult.

    ,

  • The UTC is different from my previous school because you get more respect and the learning coaches are easy to get along with.

    ,

  • I came to the UTC because I wanted to be prepared for the world of work.

    ,

  • My favourite subject is Construction – I like making things and improving my skills, I enjoy learning more about the Industry.

    ,

  • The best thing about attending the UTC is, there are opportunities in engineering and construction, and the UTC has the opportunity for learners to get a job/apprentice in engineering and construction. If I was in my old school I don’t think I would get the opportunity like I am at UTC. So, I think this is a good move I have made from my old school to the UTC. I also like the college because the learning coaches pay heed to everything the learner says, so the learner knows that he/she is not alone.
